Merkato is one of the biggest open market in Africa which is located in Addis Ababa Ethiopia now making its presence online powered by Amazon.com and hosted by Yebbo.com. In 1999 Yebbo Communication Network started an online market place called Virtual Merkato , at that time due to luck of access and demand yebbo had to put the project on hold until there is a real demand and supply. Now with current technology, real demand and enough supply Yebbo is relaunching its for its visitors.
