Introduction
These terms and conditions govern your use of Ethiotrans’s translation and localization services. By using our services, you accept these terms and conditions in full.
Services Provided
Ethiotrans provides professional translation, localization, interpretation, and related language services. We specialize in African languages and support over 150 languages worldwide.
Quotations and Pricing
All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Prices are based on the source material provided at the time of quotation. Additional charges may apply for:
- Rush services requiring delivery in less than standard turnaround time
- Complex formatting or desktop publishing requirements
- Changes to source material after work has commenced
- Certification, notarization, or additional authentication services
Payment Terms
Payment is due within 30 days of invoice date. For new clients or projects over $5,000, a 50% deposit may be required before work begins. Late payments may be subject to interest charges of 1.5% per month.
Confidentiality
Ethiotrans treats all client materials and information as strictly confidential. We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data and will not disclose any information to third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
Intellectual Property
Clients retain all intellectual property rights to source materials provided. Ethiotrans assigns all rights to translated materials to the client upon full payment.
Liability
Our liability is limited to the value of the translation project. Ethiotrans is not liable for consequential damages arising from the use of translated materials.
Cancellation Policy
Projects may be cancelled with written notice. For work in progress, clients will be billed for completed work at the agreed rate.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of California, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of San Diego County, California.
